Fall Pilgrim Activity - Giveaway
My children enjoy playing with their Fisher Price Little People year round. I try to make it extra fun for them by using our Mayflower and Pilgrim set in the fall or if we are learning about the pilgrims in history. This year we added the Little People Thanksgiving Celebration set to our collection. They have really been enjoying having Indians to join the Thanksgiving feasts that they make up. I enjoy having a couple of toys that are season specific and since my children enjoy them so much I wanted to give one Little People Thanksgiving Celebration away to one of my readers.

Love it! One of our favorite thanksgiving traditions is making a paper turkey and writing a blessing each night at dinner on a feather. We have around 50 feathers already for the month. stallingsmcmc@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteHi Suanna! I've been following your blog ever since Jeff posted a link to it on FB awhile ago. You have a beautiful family - five kids, wow! :) Our girls (we adopted them in May of this year - not sure if you already knew that or not) really enjoy Fisher Price sets, so I thought I would enter your giveaway. A Thanksgiving tradition I am hoping to start this year is a Thanksgiving tree, writing the things we are thankful for on paper leaves & hanging them on either a paper tree on the wall or actual branches from the yard. We probably should have started at the beginning of November, but I guess we will just do it the week of Thanksgiving. Maybe I can start earlier next year. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Suanna! We sure miss you guys. It's fun keeping up through your blog! This year we have been making a handprint thankful wreath to teach Molly to thank the Lord for all things. Each day we trace her hand on fall paper and then cut it out and write one thing she is thankful for on it. Then we glue it to a paper plate with the center cut out to make a wreath. We also watch the Charlie Brown pilgrim cartoon too. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Su!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my FAVORITE traditions is to watch the parade!! I love to see the beautiful floats and balloons. I cant wait till James is old enough to enjoy it with us!!

Hi! I'm so happy you stopped by my blog:) You know, I had no clue that Fisher Price made a set for Thanksgiving. How cute!! My girls love Little People, for sure. Let's see...last year we started a tradition of prayer. We all knelt in our den on Thanksgiving day, held hands, and took turns thanking God for different blessings. It was really a precious time!
