Teaching children so they learn and practice good character qualities is GOOD! Teaching them that they need a Savior is BEST! That's something I had to "learn" or be reminded of frequently. Until they understand their sinful condition they will not Trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Your children are sinners in need of a Savior just as you and I are. I encourage you to not lose sight of that need. For the GOOD character is fruit that the Spirit who indwells us cultivates in us so we will be the BEST kind of vessel.
I've been reading in Proverbs and keeping note of all the references to the tongue/mouth/words/lips/etc. It's an assignment from Ladies Bible study in which we are studying book of James. Very convicting of the need to put my mouth under God's bit and rudder.
