I've been trying to do some more reading and I thought I'd try to keep you updated on what I am reading.
Currently I am reading:
"The Spiritual Power of a Mother" by Michael P. Ferris
and
"Interwoven: A Pioneer Chronicle" by Sallie Reynolds Matthews (This book is often used as a source of West Texas History.)
I recently finished browsing through "The Well-Trained Mind"

ReplyDelete"The Spiritual Power of a Mother" - enjoyable to read, good reference
"Interwoven: A Pioneer Chronicle" - fun, I like pioneer history and this is personal experience in an easy to read format
"The Well-Trained Mind" - thought provoking, what the authors had to say made a lot of sense, I'm sure I won't follow it exactly, this is a good homeschool reference material and I am planning on using the Reading book the authors wrote to teach Katy this year.
